Leading SA Firm in Successful Partnership to Deliver State Aquatic Centre
South Australia is a step closer to boasting to the nation's most modern international standard aquatic facility.
This follows a decision by the State Government and City of Marion to appoint the Aqua43 consortium - comprising Adelaide-based Candetti Constructions and Macquarie Bank - to further develop plans and a funding model for the proposed State Aquatic Centre.
The State Aquatic Centre is planned for construction on land near the corner of Morphett and Diagonal roads, Oaklands Park.
Aqua43 also has concept development responsibility for a proposed GP Plus Health Care Centre and further general development of the Marion Domain project area.
Aqua43 will now evaluate opportunities and test whether the aquatic facility can be delivered within the public funding parameters.
Aqua43 intends to develop a detailed proposal for the world class centre.
